- 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 1 tablespoon orange zest
- 1 (8 oz) container whipped topping, thawed
- 1/4 cup orange food coloring (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×9 inch pan to prevent sticking and prepare for the crust.
- Combine graham cracker crumbs, granulated sugar, and melted butter in a mixing bowl. Stir well until the mixture resembles wet sand. Press into the bottom of the prepared pan.
- Beat the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Add the fresh orange juice and orange zest, mixing until incorporated.
- Fold in the thawed whipped topping until fully combined and creamy.
- Pour the cream cheese mixture over the prepared crust and spread evenly with a spatula.
- Drop in orange food coloring on top, and swirl gently with a knife to create a marbled effect.
- Freeze the bars for at least 4 hours, or until firm.
- Cut into bars and serve cold.
Notes
Best served chilled. Can be garnished with a slice of fresh orange or a dollop of whipped cream.
