- 2 large sweet onions (Vidalia or Walla Walla)
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon chili onion crunch
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
- 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F. Peel the onions and cut a 1-inch hole in the top of each onion.
- Scoop out some of the insides of the onions, creating a bowl, and place 1 piece of butter into each well.
- Melt the remaining tablespoon of butter in a microwave-safe bowl, then mix in chili onion crunch, minced garlic, paprika, Old Bay seasoning, Cajun seasoning, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Pour over the onions.
- Wrap each onion in foil and place them in a baking dish. Bake for 50-60 minutes until fork tender, checking every 10 minutes.
- If desired, broil for 2-3 minutes for a caramelized finish. Serve warm.
