Description

A delightful one-pan meal featuring tender chicken, bright broccoli, and a delicious honey garlic sauce, perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooked rice for serving (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a small bowl, combine the honey, soy sauce, and minced garlic to create a marinade.
  3. Toss the chicken pieces with half of the honey garlic mixture in a large mixing bowl until evenly coated.
  4. Place the marinated chicken on a baking sheet, spreading it out for even cooking.
  5. Add the broccoli florets to the sheet and drizzle with olive oil, seasoning with salt and pepper.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the broccoli is tender.
  7. Drizzle the remaining honey garlic glaze over the chicken and broccoli before serving.
  8. Serve with cooked rice if desired.

Notes

For optimal flavor, marinate the chicken longer if time allows. You can also substitute broccoli with other vegetables like bell peppers or snap peas.
