- 8 ounces egg noodles
- 2 cans (5 ounces each) tuna, drained
- 1 can (10.5 ounces) cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup frozen green peas
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup crushed potato chips or breadcrumbs
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook the egg noodles according to the package instructions; drain and set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the drained tuna, cream of mushroom soup, and milk. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Stir in the cooked noodles and frozen green peas until everything is well mixed.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13 inch baking dish. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese and crushed potato chips or breadcrumbs on top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until heated through and the topping is golden brown. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
For a creamier casserole, add an extra splash of milk or sour cream. Customize with additional vegetables or cheese varieties for different flavors.
