Description
Delicious Nestlé chocolate chip cookies with golden edges, soft centers, and melty chocolate chips.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup packed light-brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 2 cups semisweet and/or milk chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the flour and baking soda. Set it aside. In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and salt until smooth and creamy.
- Add the vanilla extract and the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Gradually fold in the flour mixture until just combined. Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Scoop tablespoon-sized amounts of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until edges are golden and centers are soft.
- Let cookies cool slightly on the baking sheet before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
Notes
For best results, use room temperature butter and avoid overmixing the dough.
