- 1 lb ground beef
- 8 oz pasta (cooked)
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup shredded Swiss cheese
- 1 cup sliced mushrooms
- 1 small onion (chopped)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: Breadcrumbs for topping
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Heat the olive oil over medium heat in a large skillet.
- Add the chopped onions and sliced mushrooms, sauté until translucent and softened, about 5-7 minutes.
- Add the ground beef to the skillet, breaking it apart as it cooks and season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Cook until fully browned, about 8-10 minutes.
- Combine the beef mixture with the cooked pasta, beef broth, and milk in a large mixing bowl. Stir until well mixed.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased casserole dish, spreading it out evenly.
- Top with shredded Swiss cheese and breadcrumbs if desired.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or frozen for longer storage.
