Ingredients

  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 cup boiling water

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.
  2. Sift together flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Add eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla; mix until smooth.
  3. Gradually mix in boiling water until smooth and thin. Pour batter into prepared pans and bake for 30-35 minutes.
  4. Let cakes cool for about 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes
