- 1 cup boiling water
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.
- Sift together flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Add eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla; mix until smooth.
- Gradually mix in boiling water until smooth and thin. Pour batter into prepared pans and bake for 30-35 minutes.
- Let cakes cool for about 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
