Description

Delicious mint-infused brownies that combine rich chocolate with a refreshing minty twist, perfect for parties or sweet cravings.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 4 oz semi-sweet chocolate
  • 2 cups white sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup softened unsalted butter (for frosting)
  • 22 1/2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons peppermint extract
  • 24 drops green food coloring
  • 6 oz semi-sweet chocolate (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking pan.
  2. In a saucepan over low heat, melt together butter and chocolate.
  3. Add sugar and eggs, mixing well.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together cocoa, flour, and salt.
  5. Fold dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and bake for about 30 minutes.
  7. While the brownies bake, beat together the frosting ingredients until fluffy.
  8. Spread frosting on cooled brownies and pour melted chocolate over.
  9. Allow topping to set before slicing into squares.
