Description

Delightful cookies that bring the nostalgic flavors of hot cocoa, complete with gooey marshmallows and melt-in-your-mouth chocolate chips.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows or chopped marshmallows
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add this dry mixture to the wet ingredients and stir until just combined.
  4. Gently fold in the marshmallows and chocolate chips.
  5. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, ensuring enough space to allow spreading. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are set but centers remain soft.
  6. Remove from oven and cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
