Description
Delightful cookies that bring the nostalgic flavors of hot cocoa, complete with gooey marshmallows and melt-in-your-mouth chocolate chips.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup mini marshmallows or chopped marshmallows
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add this dry mixture to the wet ingredients and stir until just combined.
- Gently fold in the marshmallows and chocolate chips.
- Drop spoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, ensuring enough space to allow spreading. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are set but centers remain soft.
- Remove from oven and cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
