Description
Delicious and succulent marinated tuna steaks infused with vibrant flavors and perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients
- Ahi tuna steaks
- Soy sauce
- Ginger
- Garlic
- Lime juice
- Olive oil
- Fresh herbs (like parsley or cilantro)
- Orange juice
- Honey
- Salt
- Pepper
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix together soy sauce, ginger, garlic, lime juice, and olive oil for the Asian marinade. For a citrus twist, combine orange juice, honey, salt, and pepper in another bowl. If you prefer a fresh herb flavor, blend olive oil with chopped fresh herbs, lime juice, salt, and pepper.
- Place the tuna steaks in a sealable bag or shallow dish and pour the selected marinade over them. Make sure the steaks are well coated for optimal flavor.
- Seal or cover the tuna and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes. For the best flavor, allow the steaks to marinate for up to 2 hours.
- Preheat the grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Remove the tuna from the marinade and cook for 2-3 minutes per side for a medium-rare finish. The tuna should still be slightly pink in the center, ensuring it remains tender and juicy.
- Serve immediately and enjoy your perfectly marinated tuna steaks!
Notes
