- 4 chicken breasts
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 4 slices of ham
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Pound the chicken breasts to an even thickness.
- Season the flour with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a shallow dish.
- Dredge each chicken breast in the seasoned flour, dip it in beaten eggs, and coat it with breadcrumbs.
- Fry in a skillet over medium heat with oil until golden brown, about 4-5 minutes per side.
- Bake the fried chicken on a baking sheet, topped with ham and mozzarella, for about 15-20 minutes until the cheese is melted.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
