Description

Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup dried lavender flowers

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. Mash the ripe bananas with a fork until smooth.
  3. Stir in the melted butter, sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract.
  4. Mix in the baking soda and salt, then gently add flour and fold it until just combined.
  5. Fold in the dried lavender flowers.
  6. Pour the batter into the greased loaf pan and smooth the top.
  7. Bake for 60-65 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Allow the bread to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
