- 3 ripe bananas
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup dried lavender flowers
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
- Mash the ripe bananas with a fork until smooth.
- Stir in the melted butter, sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract.
- Mix in the baking soda and salt, then gently add flour and fold it until just combined.
- Fold in the dried lavender flowers.
- Pour the batter into the greased loaf pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 60-65 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow the bread to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
