Description

A delightful fusion of juicy flank steak marinated in soy sauce and gochujang, paired with crunchy slaw and warm tortillas.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb flank steak
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon gochujang (Korean chili paste)
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • 8 small corn tortillas
  • 1 cup slaw (cabbage, carrots)
  • Fresh cilantro, for garnish
  • Lime wedges, for serving

Instructions

  1. Marinate the flank steak in soy sauce, gochujang, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Cook the marinated steak for about 5-7 minutes per side, until desired doneness.
  4. Let the steak rest for a few minutes before slicing it thinly against the grain.
  5. Warm the corn tortillas in a pan for about a minute on each side.
  6. Assemble the tacos by placing slices of steak on each tortilla, topping with slaw, and garnishing with fresh cilantro. Serve with lime wedges.

Notes

For extra flavor, sprinkle sesame seeds on top before serving. Customize the slaw with your favorite veggies.
