- 1 lb ground beef or turkey
- 1/2 cup almond flour
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 beaten egg
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 cups sugar-free marinara sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine ground meat, almond flour, Parmesan, onion, garlic, egg, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix and form into meatballs.
- Place meatballs in a baking dish, cover with marinara sauce, and sprinkle with mozzarella. Bake for 25-30 minutes until cooked and cheese is bubbly.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
For extra flavor, add red pepper flakes to the meat mixture. Substitute ground turkey with chicken or pork for variations.
