- 10 fresh jalapeños
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Cut jalapeños in half lengthwise and remove seeds.
- In a bowl, combine cream cheese, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper; mix until smooth.
- Fill each jalapeño half with the cheese mixture.
- Sprinkle breadcrumbs on top of each filled jalapeño.
- Bake for about 20 minutes or until jalapeños are tender and tops are golden brown.
Notes
For added flavor, consider incorporating cooked bacon bits into the cheese mixture. To reduce heat, use fewer jalapeños and increase cheese filling.
