Description

A delightful one-pan dish that combines tender chicken breasts with a creamy, cheesy jalapeño mixture, perfect for a weeknight dinner or a cozy gathering with friends.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 jalapeños, chopped
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Season chicken breasts with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Cook chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked.
  4. In a bowl, mix together cream cheese, cheddar cheese, and chopped jalapeños.
  5. Once the chicken is cooked, reduce the heat to low, spread the cheese mixture over the chicken, and cover until cheese is melted (3-5 minutes).
  6. If using, sprinkle breadcrumbs on top and broil for 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Serve warm with a side salad or crusty bread.

Notes

Use fresh jalapeños for more heat. Experiment with different cheeses for varied flavors.
