Delightful bite-sized tartlet bites combining mushrooms, ham, and cheese wrapped in flaky puff pastry, perfect for entertaining or a quick snack.

- 1 package puff pastry
- 1 cup mushrooms, diced
- 1 cup ham, diced
- 1 cup cheese (Swiss or cheddar), shredded
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add diced onions and minced garlic, sautéing until translucent.
- Add diced mushrooms and ham to the skillet. Cook until mushrooms are soft, about 5-7 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
- Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface and cut into squares, roughly 4 inches each.
- Place a spoonful of the mushroom, ham, and cheese mixture in the center of each pastry square.
- Fold the corners of the pastry over the filling and seal.
- Brush the tops with beaten egg.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown and flaky.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
