- 1 pound ground lamb
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon ground coriander
- 1/2 teaspoon garam masala
- 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
- 1 large egg
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine ground lamb, breadcrumbs, cilantro, garlic, onion, cumin, coriander, garam masala, red chili powder, egg, salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly.
- Take small portions of the mixture and roll them into 1-inch meatballs; place on a plate.
- Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat, add meatballs, and cook for 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally until browned and cooked through.
- Remove meatballs from the skillet and serve warm with yogurt sauce or as part of a curry dish.
Notes
For a spicier kick, add more red chili powder. Avoid overmixing for a tender texture.
