Delicious and aromatic Indian Lamb Meatballs, perfect for family dinners or festive occasions, bursting with rich flavors.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground lamb
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 1/2 teaspoon garam masala
  • 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 1 large egg
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground lamb, breadcrumbs, cilantro, garlic, onion, cumin, coriander, garam masala, red chili powder, egg, salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly.
  2. Take small portions of the mixture and roll them into 1-inch meatballs; place on a plate.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat, add meatballs, and cook for 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally until browned and cooked through.
  4. Remove meatballs from the skillet and serve warm with yogurt sauce or as part of a curry dish.

Notes

For a spicier kick, add more red chili powder. Avoid overmixing for a tender texture.
