Description

A delightful dish that combines succulent shrimp with a sweet and savory honey garlic glaze, perfect for a quick weeknight dinner or impressing guests.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch (optional, for thickening)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine honey, soy sauce, and minced garlic. If you prefer a thicker sauce, dissolve the cornstarch in a tablespoon of water and add it to the mixture.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook until they turn pink and opaque, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  4. Pour the honey garlic sauce over the cooked shrimp and let it simmer for an additional 2-3 minutes, seasoning with salt and pepper to taste. Garnish with green onions before serving.

Notes

Use fresh shrimp for better flavor and texture. Customize sweetness by adjusting the honey. Add veggies or spice per your preference.
