- 1 lb chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Sesame seeds for garnish
- Chopped green onions for garnish
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, salt, and pepper to create the marinade.
- Add the chicken pieces to the marinade and let them sit for at least 30 minutes.
- Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat, remove chicken from the marinade, and add to the pan. Cook until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes.
- Pour the remaining marinade into the pan and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until sauce thickens. Serve hot, garnished with sesame seeds and green onions.
Notes
For extra flavor, marinate chicken for up to a few hours or overnight. Feel free to substitute chicken thighs for a juicier bite.
