Description

Delicious and crispy homemade popcorn chicken that’s perfect for snacking or serving as an appetizer.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Marinate the chicken pieces in buttermilk for at least 1 hour.
  2. Mix the all-purpose flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  3. Dip the marinated chicken pieces into the flour mixture until well coated.
  4. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat and fry the chicken pieces in batches for about 5-7 minutes until golden brown.
  5. Drain the fried chicken on paper towels and serve hot.

Notes
