Description
A fresh and zesty green sauce made with tomatillos, cilantro, and peppers, perfect for dipping or drizzling.
Ingredients

- 6 Tomatillos
- 1 Onion, chopped
- 2 Garlic cloves
- 1 cup Cilantro, chopped
- 1–2 Jalapeño or Serrano peppers, chopped
- Juice of 1 Lime
- 1 tsp Salt
Instructions
- Remove the husks from the tomatillos and rinse them under cold water.
- Boil the tomatillos in water for about 5 minutes until soft.
- Drain the tomatillos and let them cool slightly.
- In a blender, combine the tomatillos, onion, garlic, cilantro, jalapeño, lime juice, and salt. Blend until smooth.
- Serve fresh with tortilla chips or as a condiment for grilled meats and tacos.
Notes
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week, or freeze in small portions.
