- 1 pound fresh green beans, trimmed
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon soy sauce
- 1 cup French fried onions
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the cream of mushroom soup, milk, soy sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Gently fold in the trimmed green beans and transfer this mixture to a greased baking dish. Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes.
- Stir in half of the French fried onions, then sprinkle the remaining onions on top. Return to the oven for an additional 10 to 15 minutes until golden and crispy. Serve hot.
Notes
For best results, use fresh green beans and a good-quality brand of French fried onions. Can be made ahead, just add fried onions before baking.
