  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil or melted butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Grease an 8-inch square baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the cornmeal, flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the milk, eggs, and oil or melted butter.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
