A refreshing summer drink that combines sweet blueberries and tangy lemons, perfect for any gathering.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh blueberries
  • 1 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 4 cups water
  • Ice
  • Lemon slices for garnish
  • Blueberries for garnish

Instructions

  1. Combine the blueberries, sugar, and 1 cup of water in a saucepan to form the syrup base.
  2. Heat over medium heat until the blueberries burst and the mixture becomes syrupy, about 10 minutes.
  3. Strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve into a bowl or pitcher to remove solids.
  4. Combine the blueberry syrup, fresh lemon juice, and the remaining 3 cups of water in a pitcher. Stir well, adjust sweetness if needed, and serve over ice with garnishes.

Notes

Store any leftover lemonade in a sealed container for 3-5 days. Stir before serving again.
