- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup fresh cranberries
- 1/4 cup jalapeño, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 cup cilantro, chopped (optional)
- Tortilla chips or crackers for serving
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, combine softened cream cheese with sugar, salt, and black pepper. Mix until smooth and creamy.
- In a food processor, pulse fresh cranberries and finely chopped jalapeño until finely chopped (not pureed).
- Stir the cranberry mixture into the cream cheese mixture, then fold in chopped green onions and cilantro, if desired.
- Transfer the dip to a serving dish and chill for at least 1 hour to meld flavors.
- Serve the dip with tortilla chips or crackers and enjoy!
Notes
For a milder dip, remove the seeds and membranes from the jalapeños. You can also mix in grated cheddar cheese or a dollop of sour cream for added richness.
