Description

A delightful blend of tart cranberries and spicy jalapeños in a creamy dip, perfect for holiday gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup fresh cranberries
  • 1/4 cup jalapeño, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup cilantro, chopped (optional)
  • Tortilla chips or crackers for serving

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine softened cream cheese with sugar, salt, and black pepper. Mix until smooth and creamy.
  2. In a food processor, pulse fresh cranberries and finely chopped jalapeño until finely chopped (not pureed).
  3. Stir the cranberry mixture into the cream cheese mixture, then fold in chopped green onions and cilantro, if desired.
  4. Transfer the dip to a serving dish and chill for at least 1 hour to meld flavors.
  5. Serve the dip with tortilla chips or crackers and enjoy!

Notes

For a milder dip, remove the seeds and membranes from the jalapeños. You can also mix in grated cheddar cheese or a dollop of sour cream for added richness.
