A delicious and satisfying high-protein keto calzone with a low-carb almond flour crust and customizable fillings.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese
  • 4 oz cream cheese
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • Your favorite fillings (e.g., pepperoni, mushrooms, spinach, cheese)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Combine almond flour, eggs, mozzarella cheese, cream cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl. Mix until a smooth dough forms.
  3. Roll the dough into a circle on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  4. Add your favorite fillings on one half of the dough.
  5. Fold the other half of the dough over the fillings, then pinch the edges to seal.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. Let the calzone cool slightly before slicing and serving.
