Description

Delicious and nutritious high-protein brownies made with cottage cheese.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup cottage cheese
  • 1/2 cup almond flour
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8×8 inch baking pan.
  2. Combine the cottage cheese, almond flour, cocoa powder, honey (or maple syrup), eggs, vanilla extract, baking powder, and salt until smooth.
  3. Stir in chocolate chips if using. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly. Bake for 20-25 minutes.
  4. Allow the brownies to cool before slicing into squares and serve.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days, or refrigerate for up to a week.
