  • Pink and red food coloring

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease heart-shaped cake pans.
  2. In a bowl, mix together flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, whisk milk, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla extract.
  4. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients.
  5. Divide the batter into two bowls; add pink food coloring to one and red to the other.
  6. Pour the pink batter into one pan and the red batter into another.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Cool in the pans for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
  9. Layer the cakes with chocolate drizzle and serve.
