- 115 g unsalted butter
- 200 g granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 35 g unsweetened cocoa powder
- 65 g all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 85 g chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F). Grease a 20 cm square baking tin and line it with parchment paper.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the unsalted butter. Stir in the granulated sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Sift in cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder. Mix gently until just combined.
- Fold in chocolate chips.
- Pour batter into the prepared tin and bake for 20–25 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs.
- Let cool completely, then cut into heart shapes using a cookie cutter.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
