Ingredients

  • 1 cup oats
  • 1/2 cup almonds, chopped
  • 1/2 cup sunflower seeds
  • 1/2 cup nut butter (e.g., almond or peanut)
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup chia seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the oats, chopped almonds, sunflower seeds, chia seeds, and salt. Stir until mixed uniformly.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix together the nut butter, honey or maple syrup, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry mixture and stir until well combined.
  5. Scoop tablespoon-sized portions onto the prepared baking sheet and flatten slightly.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
