  • Zest of 1 orange

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line a 9-inch round cake pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mix flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together eggs, honey (or maple syrup), coconut oil, orange juice, vanilla extract, and orange zest.
  4. Combine wet and dry ingredients until just mixed.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
