Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1/3 cup melted coconut oil
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 cup nuts or chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. Mash the ripe bananas in a mixing bowl until smooth.
  3. Stir in honey or maple syrup, melted coconut oil, and vanilla extract.
  4. Add baking soda, salt, and cinnamon, then mix in the whole wheat flour.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
  6. Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Let it cool for 10 minutes in the pan before transferring to a wire rack.
