- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cups egg noodles
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
- 1 cup milk
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: diced tomatoes or bell peppers
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef and chopped onion over medium heat for 5-7 minutes until the beef is no longer pink and the onion is tender.
- Prepare the egg noodles according to package instructions, drain, and set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked beef mixture, egg noodles, cream of mushroom soup, milk, salt, and pepper. Add optional diced tomatoes or bell peppers.
- Pour the mixture into a greased casserole dish and sprinkle shredded cheese over the top. Bake for 25-30 minutes until heated through and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Serve warm straight from the oven.

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days or frozen for 2-3 months.
