- 1 package of gyoza (dumplings)
- 4 cups chicken or vegetable broth
- 2 cups water
- 1 cup sliced mushrooms
- 1 cup chopped bok choy or spinach
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- Green onions for garnish
- Sesame oil (optional)
Instructions
- In a large pot, bring the chicken or vegetable broth and water to a boil.
- Add the minced garlic and sliced mushrooms; cook for about 5 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.
- Gently add the gyoza to the pot and let them simmer for about 5-7 minutes, or until they are cooked through.
- Stir in the bok choy or spinach along with the soy sauce, cooking until the greens are wilted.
- Serve the soup in bowls, garnished with chopped green onions and a drizzle of sesame oil if desired.
Notes
Use frozen gyoza for ease. Experiment with different greens and garnishes.
