Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ground cumin
  • 1 tablespoon ground coriander
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Fresh herbs (like parsley or cilantro) for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine olive oil, yogurt, lemon juice, garlic, cumin, coriander, turmeric, salt, and pepper. Mix well to create a marinade.
  2. Add the chicken to the marinade, ensuring each piece is well-coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight for better flavor.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Remove the chicken from the marinade and let excess drip off. Grill the chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until cooked through and juices run clear.
  4. Remove from the grill and let rest for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh herbs and serve.

Notes

For maximum flavor, marinate the chicken overnight. Use a meat thermometer to ensure it’s cooked through at 165°F (75°C).
