Instructions

  2. Butter one side of each slice of bread generously.
  3. Place one slice of bread, butter side down, on the skillet.
  4. Layer the cheese on top of the bread in the skillet.
  5. Top with the second slice of bread, butter side up.
  6. Cook until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes, then flip and cook the other side until golden and the cheese has melted.
  7. Remove from heat, allow to cool slightly, slice, and serve warm.
