Description

A classic comfort dish perfect for gatherings, with a creamy texture and crunchy topping.


Ingredients

  • 2 cans of green beans (drained)
  • 1 can of cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup of milk
  • 1 cup of French fried onions
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare your baking dish.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the drained green beans with cream of mushroom soup and milk. Stir until well mixed and add salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Pour the bean mixture into a greased baking dish and bake for 25 minutes.
  4. Remove from oven and stir in about 2/3 cup of the French fried onions. Return to oven and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes until the onions are golden brown and crispy.

Notes

Use fresh green beans for more crunch and consider garnishing with fresh herbs.
