Description

A delightful dish that combines tender chicken, savory ham, and creamy Swiss cheese, wrapped in a crispy coating, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 4 slices of ham
  • 4 slices of Swiss cheese
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Start this dish off right by prepping your workspace and ingredients.
  2. Place each chicken breast between two pieces of plastic wrap and pound to about 1/4 inch thickness.
  3. Season each chicken breast generously with salt and pepper.
  4. Place a slice of ham and a slice of cheese on each chicken breast and roll tightly, securing with toothpicks if necessary.
  5. Dredge each roll in flour, dip in beaten eggs, and coat in breadcrumbs.
  6. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat and fry the chicken rolls until golden brown on all sides.
  7. Transfer the chicken to a baking dish and bake for 15–20 minutes, or until cooked through.
  8. Serve hot, optionally with a side salad or a tangy sauce.

Notes

For best results, serve immediately after baking unless stored properly.
