- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 package (10 oz) marshmallows
- 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Optional: icing or decorations for topping
Instructions
- In a large saucepan, melt the butter over low heat, stirring continuously.
- Add the marshmallows to the melted butter and stir until smooth.
- Stir in the ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Remove from heat and fold in the Rice Krispies cereal until coated.
- Press the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch pan.
- Allow to cool for about 30 minutes before cutting into squares or bars.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to three days or refrigerate for up to a week. Can also be frozen for up to three months.
