Description

A delightful dish bringing vibrant Mediterranean flavors with tender chicken marinated in garlic, lemon juice, and oregano.


Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 teaspoons dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, dried oregano, salt, black pepper, and freshly squeezed lemon juice.
  2. Add the chicken breasts to the bowl and coat them well with the marinade.
  3. Cover the bowl and let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  4. Preheat your grill or oven to 400°F (200°C). Cook the chicken on the grill or roast it in the oven until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  5. Once cooked, let the chicken rest for a few minutes and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

For best flavor, marinate chicken overnight. Chicken thighs can be used as an alternative.
