- 4 chicken breasts
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 teaspoons dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 lemon, juiced
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, dried oregano, salt, black pepper, and freshly squeezed lemon juice.
- Add the chicken breasts to the bowl and coat them well with the marinade.
- Cover the bowl and let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat your grill or oven to 400°F (200°C). Cook the chicken on the grill or roast it in the oven until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
- Once cooked, let the chicken rest for a few minutes and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
For best flavor, marinate chicken overnight. Chicken thighs can be used as an alternative.
