Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 bunch Swiss chard
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • Juice of 1 lemon (optional)

Instructions

  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat until it shimmers.
  3. Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Add the chopped Swiss chard stems and sauté for 2-3 minutes until they start to soften.
  5. Stir in the chopped Swiss chard leaves and cook until wilted, about 3-5 minutes.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste and drizzle with lemon juice if desired before serving.

Notes

Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in a skillet over medium heat with a splash of water.
