- 1 bunch Swiss chard
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced

- Juice of 1 lemon (optional)
Instructions
- Rinse the Swiss chard under cold water to remove any dirt or grit. Remove the stems from the leaves and chop them separately.
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat until it shimmers.
- Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add the chopped Swiss chard stems and sauté for 2-3 minutes until they start to soften.
- Stir in the chopped Swiss chard leaves and cook until wilted, about 3-5 minutes.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste and drizzle with lemon juice if desired before serving.
Notes
Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in a skillet over medium heat with a splash of water.
