Description

A delightful dish that showcases fresh salmon infused with a buttery garlic sauce, perfectly baked alongside vibrant broccoli.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 salmon fillets (6 ounces each)
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1 tablespoon light brown sugar
  • ½ teaspoon dried oregano
  • ½ teaspoon dried thyme
  • ½ teaspoon dried rosemary
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)
  • 1 lemon (halved)
  • 4 to 6 cups broccoli florets

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F. While the oven heats up, grease a sheet pan with cooking spray to prevent sticking.
  2. Arrange the broccoli on one side of the sheet pan, ensuring it’s in a single layer for even roasting. Place the salmon fillets on the other side, leaving plenty of space between each piece.
  3. Rub the minced garlic evenly over each salmon fillet. In a separate bowl, whisk together the melted butter, brown sugar, oregano, thyme, and rosemary until well combined.
  4. Pour the garlic butter sauce over the salmon and broccoli, ensuring everything is nicely coated. Squeeze half a lemon over the dish and season with salt and pepper to your taste. Bake for about 15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving for added freshness.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the salmon in the garlic mixture for 30 minutes before cooking. Adjust herbs based on your preferences; fresh herbs can enhance the taste.
