Description

Warm and flavorful garlic breadsticks that are easy to make and enhance any meal. Crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup warm water
  • 2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, combine warm water, yeast, and sugar. Let it sit for about 5 minutes until frothy.
  2. In a large bowl, mix flour and salt together. Create a well in the center and add the yeast mixture along with olive oil. Stir until a dough starts to form.
  3. Mix until a dough forms, then knead on a floured surface for 5-7 minutes.
  4. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour.
  5. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  6. On a floured surface, roll out the dough into a rectangle. Cut into strips and place on a lined baking sheet.
  7. Mix melted butter, minced garlic, and parsley. Brush over the breadsticks.
  8. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Serve warm.

Notes

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days or freeze for up to 3 months. Reheat as needed.
