Description

Buffalo wings are the ultimate crowd-pleaser, combining tender chicken with a spicy buttery sauce, perfect for game day gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 lbs chicken wings
  • 1/2 cup hot sauce
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 tablespoon white vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • Salt to taste
  • Celery sticks (for serving)
  • Blue cheese dressing (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Rinse and pat dry the chicken wings, then place them in a large bowl.
  2. In a saucepan, combine the hot sauce, butter, vinegar, garlic powder, cayenne pepper, and salt. Heat over medium heat until the butter melts and the sauce is smooth.
  3. Pour the sauce over the wings and toss to coat evenly. Place the wings on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 40-45 minutes, turning halfway through.
  4. Serve hot with celery sticks and blue cheese dressing on the side.

Notes

For extra crispiness, dry the wings with paper towels before coating. Adjust the spice level by varying the cayenne pepper or using a milder hot sauce.
