Ingredients

  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour

  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix the cooked macaroni, cheddar cheese, parmesan cheese, and cream cheese until well combined.
  2. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Refrigerate the mixture for about 1 hour to firm up.
  4. Shape the mixture into balls, about 1 inch in diameter.
  5. Roll each ball in flour, dip in beaten eggs, then coat with breadcrumbs.
  6. Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C).
  7. Fry the cheese balls until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes.
