Instructions

  2. Mix together the flour, softened butter, powdered sugar, and salt until crumbly.
  3. Add the egg yolk and knead into a smooth dough.
  4. Press the dough into a tart pan and bake for 15-20 minutes until lightly golden.
  5. Whisk together the fresh lemon juice, granulated sugar, eggs, and lemon zest until smooth.
  6. Pour the lemon mixture into the baked crust.
  7. Bake for an additional 20-25 minutes until the filling is just set.
  8. Let the tart cool at room temperature, then refrigerate for at least an hour before serving.
