Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • Green icing for decoration
  • White icing for decoration

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. Melt the butter in a large bowl and stir in the sugar. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing thoroughly after each. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  3. Sift the flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder in another bowl. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, stirring until combined.
  4. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread it evenly. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  5. Let the brownies cool completely, then cut into football shapes and decorate with icing.
