Description

Soft and buttery brioche buns perfect for sandwiches or as a treat.


Ingredients

  • 500g all-purpose flour
  • 10g salt
  • 75g sugar
  • 10g yeast
  • 6 eggs
  • 200g unsalted butter, softened
  • 200ml milk

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine warm milk and yeast; let it sit for 5 minutes.
  2. In another bowl, mix flour, salt, and sugar.
  3. Add the yeast mixture and eggs to the dry ingredients; mix until it forms a dough.
  4. Knead the dough for about 10 minutes until smooth.
  5. Gradually add softened butter until fully incorporated.
  6. Cover the bowl with a cloth and let it rise in a warm place until doubled in size, about 1-2 hours.
  7. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  8. Divide the dough into equal pieces and shape them into balls.
  9. Place them in a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
  10. Let them rise for another 30-45 minutes.
  11. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  12. Allow to cool before serving.

Notes

Ensure to use warm milk to activate the yeast. Fresh yeast is recommended for best results.
