Description

Delicious muffins combining sweet, salty, and spicy flavors with crunchy pretzel pieces and Flamin’ Hot Cheetos.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup crushed Flamin’ Hot Cheetos
  • 1 cup pretzel pieces
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream together the softened butter, egg, and vanilla extract until light and fluffy.
  4. Gradually blend the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined, avoiding overmixing.
  5. Fold in the crushed Flamin’ Hot Cheetos, pretzel pieces, and chocolate chips.
  6. Divide the batter evenly among the muffin cups, filling each about two-thirds full.
  7. Bake for 15-18 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  8. Let cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

Store leftover muffins in an airtight container at room temperature for up to three days. For longer storage, freeze them tightly wrapped for up to a month.
